Our Antique Heart Pine with superbly tight grain is a hard and durable pine. Its rich amber-orange coloring deepens with time lends to virtually any style of interior design. It is the preferred reclaimed flooring for many historic restorations.
Reclaimed Heart Pine with Circle Saw Marks and Natural Finish
Following the blight some of the standing dead wood was infected with small
borers lumbered. This dead, damaged wood is called “Wormy Chestnut” and is still
a significant portion of our Reclaimed Chestnut flooring.
Reclaimed Heart Pine is one of our most popular floors. It brings to life the
original character of 100 plus year old wood with its rich color and tight
graining. Our reclaimed Heart Pine, from heavy timbers from old factory
buildings comes in long lengths and widths to 12” (and wider available).
Grading is available from clear Premium Vertical Grain, to Select mid-grade and
Character Grade with heavy grain patterns and scattered knots etc. All are FSC
Certified and LEEDS qualifying materials.
